Our Approach
Kiitos provided SUM with two distinctive options, (1) working with third parties for data scraping or (2) embedding coupon hyperlinks to the retailers' websites. Option 1 incurred more costs and time, delaying SUM’s expected roll-out date. In alignment with the SUM founders’ initial wish to bring an all-in-one shopping experience to the users, Kiitos suggested first launching the website with direct coupon links, and then importing product information from retailers’ websites. This approach allowed SUM to build their user database and stay under budget.
